We couldn’t recommend Harry and his team highly enough for the service we received during the build and transport of our home from Auckland to Ōpōtiki.

We spent nearly two years researching transportable homes across the country and spoke with almost every transportable home company in the North Island. After all that research, Performance Properties stood out clearly — best price, good quality, and better service than anyone else we dealt with.

At first, we honestly thought the pricing was too good to be true. But what is listed on their website is the full cost of the home. We chose the 118m² fully completed house, beautifully laid out with raking ceilings, sliding doors in the main bedroom, and everything you need to simply connect and move in — including $20,000 towards transport,

We also opted for a few upgrades to make the home our own. Harry has built many homes and, when you speak with him on-site while the houses are being built, his experience and knowledge really show. We walked through layout options together and ended up adding bookshelves, upgraded wardrobes, and a few kitchen changes to better suit our needs.

The transport company, Nationwide House Movers, made light work of delivering the home all the way to Ōpōtiki. They coordinated council requirements, completed pre-pile inspections, and had the house on piles and ready to go within just three days.

We are extremely happy with the finished home — it’s modern, tidy, and very well designed. When we tell people what it cost, they’re blown away. We came in well under our original budget, which means we can now put funds towards a large deck to make the home even better.

My wife and I purchased the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ex show-home.

We are a young couple with two young children and we thought buying our first home was way out of reach with the ever surging prices in the property market. I always pictured buying an existing home first believing that buying new or building meant more expensive.

We started looking at pieces of land with an aim of just purchasing something and getting into the market. However after looking at these houses we realised that putting a brand new relocatable house on a section was achievable.

We were blown away at what was packed into the 3 bedroom house when we first looked through it and all for a great price. We found a section and went to the bank and with a lot of persistence managed to convince them to lend us the funds.

Our site was one of the more difficult ones, tricky to manoeuvre the house onto and also fairly steep. Fistonich Building Removals did an excellent job and made it look easy.

Harry was great to work with throughout the process and we commend him for his flexibility, dedication and can-do attitude that helped us achieve our goal of owning our first home. It is clear he has a genuine drive to help others to achieve home ownership.

These houses are built to last and we will most certainly be back to see Harry when an upsize to the 4 bedroom is due. It still blows us away that literally overnight our new home was on site and ready to move into not long after.
